Robb Armstrong has lent his characters to several public service campaigns, including the American Diabetes Association's campaign to encourage people to take the Diabetes Risk Test, and the American Cancer Society's "Great American Smokeout."
Armstrong strongly believes that the more that people get involved in kids' lives, the better the world will be. And he doesn't just talk about doing something. While Robb speaks regularly for major corporations and government agencies, his calendar is also filled with speaking engagements at schools, churches and libraries throughout the U.S., where he motivates young people with the story of his own success, and how they too can succeed if they stay in school and work towards their goals. Armstrong has been recognized by Nestle's "Men of Courage" program for his community involvement, and he also appears with Joe, Marcy and Wynton Marsalis in a Scholastic mentoring video and book that are used in classrooms to help motivate young people.
Robb Armstrong is available as a motivational speaker on many topics and for groups of any size/age. For information, contact Mark B. Miller (mark@jumpstartcomics.com or via Fax at 215-674-5184).
